Wonderful book as far as I’ve read!

Question prompted by reference to “evil multi-national corps” in this chapter: Tobacco companies; addictive substance; no full info re: contents until MSA in 1997; open marketing to young (as in <6 years) in developing countries; etc, etc. It goes on and on; closest to “evil” I can think of and I tend to favor McCloskey’s view of markets. So how would you handle a question about markets for legal addictive substances that clearly distort individual prudence and harm individual (and possibly familial and even societal) health and well-being. I haven’t gotten to ch 4. Perhaps you cover this in “visible hands” which I assume include regulation.
